The Galaxy S26 FE could go official within the next few weeks, and most specifications of the phone have already leaked. Now, one of the ways the phone could be better than its predecessor has been revealed. Its battery life could be longer than that of the Galaxy S25 FE.
The European Energy Label of the Galaxy S26 FE (SM-S741B/DS) has appeared online ahead of the phone's announcement. Based on the information in the European Product Registry for Energy Labeling (EPREL) database, the Galaxy S26 FE lasts up to 50 hours on a single charge, which is around 7.5 hours longer than the Galaxy S25 FE (SM-S731B/DS).
The phone's battery will last up to 1,200 charge cycles before its health drops below 80%, which is lower than 2,000 charge cycles for the Galaxy S25 FE, though.

Since both phones have 4,900mAh batteries and Samsung followed the same battery endurance testing procedure prescribed by the European Union, it appears that the Galaxy S26 FE has improved power efficiency. This is most likely due to its newer and more power-efficient chip, the Exynos 2500.
The Galaxy S25 FE uses the 4nm Exynos 2400 processor, while the Galaxy S26 FE features the Exynos 2500 chipset fabricated on Samsung Foundry's 3nm process. The newer chip fabrication technology seems to have played a major part in the Galaxy S26 FE's longer battery life.
The rest of the Galaxy S26 FE's specifications remain largely identical to those of the Galaxy S25 FE. The upcoming Fan Edition phone has improved energy efficiency rating (A) but the same drop resistance (A), repairability (C), and IP rating (IP68).
